IMMERSION ASSEMBLY

last week on Monday the first day of school we had our Immersion Assembly all of the teachers were dressed up like people that who are in fairy story's this showed us the topic for the new is term ''the Art In Storytelling''.My teacher was dressed as the Pied Piper and holding are rat but the teacher I like the most was Mrs Tito she was the Gingerbread man she was very good at acting as the Gingerbread man but I really Wonder where she got her costume from. I really liked the part when Mr Burt was dressed as charming prince he kept calling out in a desperate voice ''where is my beautiful princess? I totally lost her and now I can't find her I am so not a good prince at looking after my princess.
Mrs Tele'a was dressed as the evil queen in Snow White stomped down the aisle with a sinister stare. She was consumed by jealousy because Snow White was the fairest of them all. She whipped a Magical mirror out of her handbag and said ''Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?'' Angrily she knocked the mirror saying that it was broken. Suddenly she pulled out a pig's hart. she mistakenly thought it was Snow White's heart, as the proof she had demanded that Snow White was dead.

Triceratops Poem

The Triceratops name means three hornd faceRunning for its life

Creataceous,Triassic and Jurassic is a place where dinosaurs lived

Even its going to be attacked it will kill them

An asteriod crashed in mexico and then it exploded so the dust has spreaded

Triceratops is a herbivore known as a plant eater

Over 65-77 millions it lived

ANATOTITAN poem

Anatotitan escapes from the predator by hidding in the water deep down
Not tough enough
Anatotitan has a very good smelling sence
This dinosaur is so slow
Other people is fossle hunters to look for some dinosaur fossle
This dinosaur is a orthisian bird-hipped
Its like slow as a stegosaurus
The anatotitan lived in the late cretaceous
As nearly tall as a Iguanodon
Now this dinosar is gone because a astroad crashed the earth

STEGOSAURUS poem

Stegosaurus has plates on its back
This dinosaur is so massive
Even when its attacked it still defends itself with its tail
Gigantic spikes on its tail
Over 65 million years ago was when it lived.
Stayed in subtropical forests in the USA.
Armour plates as solid as steel
Unable to walk fast
Reaches up to eat leaves off trees on its 2 back legs.
Uses its beak to nip off short growing plants
Stegosaurus has a small brain

Tyrant Lizard King
Yearning for meat to eat
Running fast to catch its prey
Always hungry for meat
Not possible to see anymore
No living dinosaurs left
Over 10 metres tall
Standing as tall as a sky tower
A very sharp claw on each hand
Unafraid to fight
Roars like a lion
Unafraid to hunt
Super sharp teeth like

Immersion Assembly

On the first day of school of term 2 the whole of Pt England School went to the Immersion Assembly in the hall. We found out that this term we are studying about dinosaurs. At the Immersion assembly Mr Burt was dressed like a cave man, he was called Cracker the Cave man. He was so hilarious because he grabbed Feki and slid him to where he wanted him and started hitting him. Then he grabbed Tyler and slid him to where Feki was and started hitting them both. After that Team 1 came up with signs that said 'We are not extinct yet'. After them Team 2 came up and they were dressed like gangsters. They played a song about dinosaurs and when the song says "oh they're bad oh yeah they're bad '' they started to dance like street men, man it was so crack up. As soon as they finished the other team was Team 3 and they came out as hunters. They were looking for bones on the ground plus they were playing a movie.

The hydroslide poem

H aving fun on the hydroslide
Y elling and screaming inside the tunnel
D ark pitch lack like a cave
R olling,twisting,twirling,whirling
O ur body is getting brused and banged
S hivering as we wait for mour turn
L aughing and teeth chattering
I t was freezing that our lips were turning purple
D ashing through the hydroslide
E scaping through the tunnel like your running away from the police

THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

The first day of school when I got there I meet my friend Hinkley when we meet we walked around the school and talk while we walk after that we saw our best friend from 3 years ago . We were best friend from all those years but when I was in room 10 there was a new boy his name was Pohiva Fonua and my old best friend was in a different class.In room 10 there was a boy his name was Jordan P that was my very very best friend from when we were at room 4 we always move up a class but never separated we stayed like we are brothers.But now I am in rm15 and he is in rm17.

THE CHALLENGE

Last week on Thursday we had a game called THE CHALLENGE the rules of the game were to go inside and out of the cones with the ball if you miss a cone or knock it over you have to go back to where the cone that you have missed was and then continue on going inside and out with the ball.But first you have to get into two groups each to play one person has to play while the other person has to wait until they finish and Mrs Quires will tell the person's time or take some off. My partner was Ilalio he was the first one to go I was the one who writes down his time I was cheering for him and I laughed because he smashed 2 cones down and cheated his way through.The other round we switched places. I had the stick and he had the paper Man I was very very very shy I thought I was going to have the worsted time ever but it was the funniest game ever then we went back to class THE END.

Maraetai Beach

My family went to Maraetai beach to play games like volleyball and touch. When we got there my brother and his friends and I went to the wharf. The wharf was so tall and the sea was very salty and deep. I was the first one to jump off out me and my brother because he was scared.
After that we went to the other place where my family was. We started to play rugby in sea and it was very hard to run.
After that we heard MR.WHPPY and we shouted "MR.WHIPPY! MR.WHIPPY!" I saw my cousins running to me asking, "Are you going to buy some Ice cream?"
''Yeah" I replied. I ran to my dad and asked if he had some money so we could buy some ice cream. So quickly he rushed to our car and opened the door, grabbed some money and gave it to me. I sprinted to my cousins and said, "Come on, let's go." So we ran again to MR.WHIPPY and I was exhausted. I bought 5 single flakes and it was delicious, then we went back home.
